Swiss Singer-Songwriter Lea Lu with roots in Poland, Spain and France grew up in Zürich.
At the age of 5, she started to play the violin and turned later on to the piano and guitar. She is a passionate singer.
As the leadsinger of Jazzpop-Band Nexus, Lea performed at Montreux Jazz Festival 2002 already at the age of 18.
Her debut „Dots and Lines“ is being released and as a young artist she gained wide international recognition and played over 150 concerts from Europe to the Carribeans. (e.g. Grenada, Gurten Festival in Berne, sold-out Kaufleuten in Zuerich)
In 2010 she finishes her studies as a vocalist at Musikhochschule Lucerne and gets awarded by the national music prize Prix Walo as best newcomer.
Lea’s ability of synesthesia is reflected on her 2nd album „Colour“ and her third Album „2“ wich was recorded in Nice (F) in collaboration with the French Singer and producer Medi
She performed as support-act for Morcheeba and Sinnead O`Connor and in 2016 got invited to open for Coldplay Show at Letzigrund Stadion Zuerich (CH).
